It arrived quickly and sat on my porch for a month (my own fault) Once I got around to putting it together it required complete assembly. It is an really heavy box with really heavy pieces. And it does require at least 2 people and some major wrist strength. Expect your wrist and arm to hurt the following morning. However it is extremely sturdy and I couldn’t be more pleased. Make sure you put it together exactly where you want it because moving it seems to warp it a bit.

|Solid bed at a great price! Made in North America!,
I needed a platform bed to match some white bedroom furniture, since I no longer wanted to deal with box springs. I was getting a memory foam mattress and thought this would provide a good solid support surface. Found this one on Amazon at a very attractive price. Simple and functional. Some online furniture stores are selling this same bed at 3 times the price –so shop around folks! The box arrived torn and crushed in one corner, however it was packed and reinforced well with foam, so no damage to the contents. If you are expecting fine wood, this is not for you as bed is made of particle board. It is solid and sturdy. Box is extremely heavy, so we opened it and removed the boards a few at a time and never had to lift the carton.
It took 2 of us about 1.5 hours to assemble. Instructions could be bit better illustrated, but pretty straight forward. The edge molding goes on reverse of what you would expect on the side pieces. Hardest part was making everything square, so I recommend using a squaring tool.
Very pleasantly surprised to find this item was made in in North America and not a cheap import!

great for price. It took me and 2 other people 2 hours to setup once it arrived. It was a hard setup to get everything aligned. Once complete with setup I was happy with the product.
