This sideboard does not stand alone. A hole needs to be drilled in the wall to attach the sideboard or it will fall over. I’m not permitted to drill holes in my rental apartment and I’m trying to reach Linon to resolve this matter. I’m concerned because I am not receiving a response from Linon. The fact that this sideboard must be attached to the wall in order to stay upright should be clearly stated in all descriptions of this product. Had I known, I most certainly would not have ordered and paid for it. I eagerly await a response from Linon. Thank you, Kathlyn, Chicago. Update — A representative from Linon is helping to resolve this problem with the advice that I assemble the product and keep weight at the bottom. He will stay in touch to see that this works.
